The absolute bee’s knees of Adelaide vegan bakeries is Cherry Darlings. This ALL VEGAN bakery has a huge selection of savoury such as pies & sausage rolls and sweet treats including cheesecakes, cupcakes, donuts and the BEST vanilla slice! They also have plenty of sweet gluten-free options.
Bakery on O’Connell
The bakery goods here are divine and almost just as impressive is the fact this bakery is open 24 HOURS A DAY! Ever had a craving for a jam-filled donut at 5am? Well O’Connell has you covered! Late night snack on the way home from the pub? Don’t mind if I do!
Enjoy Bakery
This is another 24-hour bakery to satisfy your cravings no matter the time of day. Enjoy on The Norwood Parade have a delicious lentil pie, pasty as well as some mighty fine donuts.
Cakeboy Donuts
Best donuts in Adelaide? Cakeboy Donuts would be a top contender. Found in Plant 4 Bowden, an ultra-trendy food court with a multitude of vegan options. It’s hard to leave room for dessert but make sure you do, Cakeboy donuts do not disappoint.
Brighton Bakery

Port Elliot Bakery
One of the most talked-about bakeries in Adelaide, it is not uncommon to witness a huge line at the Port Elliot Bakery on a busy summer day. The vegan selection isn’t huge but there are a few good options including pies, pasties, apricot or blueberry scrolls and sugar buns.
